At a cost of 6 million pounds, the President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the development and expansion works of the Critical Care and Software Department, and the establishment of the Psychology Department.

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, today inaugurated the development and expansion of the Critical Care Department, software, and medication preparation room, and the establishment of the Psychiatry Department At a cost of 6 million pounds, this comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to provide distinguished medical services to the people of Beni Suef Governorate, and in the presence of Dr. Khaled El-Hadidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of Beni Suef University Hospitals, Dr. Sameh El-Maraghi, former Vice President of the University, Dr. Hani Hamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Mohamed Sayed, Director of Critical Care, Mr/ Mohamed Selim,  General Secretary  of the University, and Dr. Samah Gad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, amid a large attendance of department heads and faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine
The university president stressed that the new development and expansions in the critical cases department included the addition of 17 new care beds, bringing the total number of beds to 34, including 3 beds for isolation cases. The new psychiatric department also included 15 beds. He pointed out that these expansions are a strategic step aimed at enhancing the quality of health services and expanding the scope of medical care that provided to citizens. He pointed out that the continuous increase in the number of visitors to the hospital and the diversity of their treatment needs confirms the importance of developing the infrastructure and updating medical equipment on a permanent and continuous basis to ensure a rapid and effective response
