The President of Beni Suef University witnesses the launch of the "Be Ready" initiative and appreciates the efforts and support of the political leadership in developing students' skills.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today the launch of the "Be Ready" initiative, which is one of the executive mechanisms of the presidential initiative "Alliance and Development". Its goal is to provide the opportunity for training and qualification with future skills needed by the labor market under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was held at the University Center for Professional Development, in the presence of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Sector, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, and Dr. Imad El-Din Mohamed Kamel, Director of the Center.

In his speech, the university president praised the efforts of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in supporting and developing students' skills through a number of important presidential initiatives. He emphasized that this interest reflects a strategic vision to build a generation capable of meeting future challenges and competing in the local and international labor market. He explained that the presidential initiatives, most notably the "Be Ready" initiative, represent a pioneering step toward enhancing the capabilities of young people and honing their skills in various scientific and technological fields, which contributes to preparing qualified national cadres that contribute to advancing the wheel of sustainable development.

For his part, Dr. Hamada Mohamed Ali noted that the initiative aims to train students in a number of skills, most notably career readiness skills, digital and artificial intelligence skills, corporate innovation skills, and entrepreneurship skills. It aims to empower one million young men and women within three years through comprehensive training aimed at building capacity in the field of innovation.

It is worth noting that the initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the Education Development Fund, ISESCO, the Global Innovation Institute, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
