Beni Suef University denies reports circulating on social media regarding an alleged bullying incident involving a female student with disabilities during a personal interview at the Faculty of Education. The university affirms that all interview procedures are conducted with full respect, taking into account the rights of all students, especially those with disabilities, to whom the university attaches great importance and for whom it provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The report received from the College of Education stated that the student was received and given the application file to complete the file data. The student then went to the personal interview committee (stipulated in the regulations) to ensure the student’s suitability for working in the teaching profession and that she was free of any apparent health problems that would hinder working in the teaching profession, in accordance with what is stated in the unified regulations for colleges of education.

The interview was conducted for the student by the specified committee, and the matter was referred to the Higher Committee to express its opinion. This is an organizational procedure for such cases, as the regulations for the General Diploma in Education program issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (1673) dated 9/2/2024 AD stipulate in the articles related to admission requirements, including “It is necessary to pass the specified medical examination for university students; so that the examination is specifically for admission to the General Diploma in Education, and focuses on what does not cause health problems when working in the teaching profession, as decided by the specialists of the university’s medical center, in addition to the condition of passing the personal interview.”

The university emphasizes the need for accuracy before disseminating information that could contribute to confusion or harm educational institutions. It also affirms its continued commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students, especially those with disabilities, who receive special care within the university's academic and humanitarian framework.
