Beni Suef University Faculty of Nursing Launches Training Program on "Physiological Changes During Adolescence"

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing organized a training program entitled "Physiological Changes During Adolescence," targeting nursing specialists at the Health Insurance Hospital and school health visitors. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to supporting the healthcare sector and enhancing awareness programs.
The program was supervised by Dr. Abou El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, in cooperation with the Health Insurance Authority under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Yehia, General Director of Health Insurance in Beni Suef, and Dr. Abeer Shaaban, Director of Training at the Health Insurance Authority.
The training was conducted by Dr. Samar Shaaban, Lecturer in Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing, and covered key topics including the concept and stages of adolescence, accompanying physiological and psychological changes, challenges adolescents may face and their impact on education, strategies for addressing these challenges, and the role of nursing specialists in supporting this crucial age group.
The program witnessed broad participation from nursing specialists in health insurance and school health visitors across various districts of the governorate, highlighting the importance of the topic and the commitment of nursing staff to enhancing their skills in addressing adolescent-related issues.
