President of Beni-Suef University Chairs Meetings of “Software” and “Projects' Development” Committees

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, chaired today the meetings of the Supreme Committee of the Software Design and Development Unit and the Higher Education Project Development Management Unit. The meetings were attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Director of the Higher Education Project Development Unit; Mr. Mohamed Selim, University Secretary-General; and members of both Boards.
The meeting of the Software Design and Development Unit discussed several key topics, foremost among them the unit’s preparations for the 2025/2026 academic year, which include issuing ID cards for first-year students and organizing a workshop to train program coordinators and faculty vice deans for education and student affairs on the use of the new program and department management system.
During the meeting of the Higher Education Project Development Unit, proposals were reviewed concerning mechanisms for operating and managing the unit’s various projects. An initiative was also introduced to engage specialized IT infrastructure experts from a telecommunications company to develop a comprehensive plan for the university’s technological infrastructure. In addition, the meeting discussed a proposal to upgrade the data center located at the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in the 320-Feddan Complex by merging the back storage area with the current room, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and expanding the center’s infrastructure.
