At Beni Suef University... the seventh session of the University Theatre Festival released with the participation of five faculties.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the seventh edition of the University Theater Festival kicked off today. The festival, organized by the Arts Activities Department under the supervision of Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of the University's Youth Care Administration . It will run from September 28 to October 2, 2025. Performances will be presented daily on the university stage.
Dr. Tariq Ali explained the important role of university theater in developing personality traits among students, most notably self-confidence, emotional balance, and responsibility. He also highlighted the importance of instilling positive values ??in them, developing a sense of community issues and the ability to express themselves. He also highlighted the role of discovering and developing talents in students, providing them with diverse information, cultures, and experiences. This year's festival is distinguished by the fact that all directors of the theatrical performances are students themselves, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting and developing the talents of young people and preparing a new generation of directors and theatrical play makers.
Five faculties are participating in the festival this year: the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Faculty of Early Childhood Education. They will feature a group of talented students in the fields of acting, set design, singing, and all elements of theatrical production. The judging committee for the theatrical performances includes the theater director Ahmed El Banhawy, artist, director, and actor Youssef El Mansour, maestro Ahmed Mustafa Galal, and the theater critic Mohamed Allam.
