Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University,announced the appointment of 165 teaching assistants in the academic departments and resident doctors in the clinical departments at the university hospital, after completing their training period at the hospital. This was under the supervision of Dr. Hani Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beni Suef University Hospitals, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of Beni Suef University Hospitals, and Dr. Samraa Hussein, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs
Dr. Tarek Ali indicated an increase in the number of appointed doctors this year compared to previous years, in order to keep pace with the recent expansions witnessed in the university's medical system, and to provide medical services at the highest level of efficiency for patients attending the university hospitals.
The University President directed the need for optimal utilization of the new residents and teaching assistants and investing their energies in raising the level of services in the university hospitals, as they are scientifically and practically qualified elements, possessing the best level of medical skills each in their specialty.
The increase in the number of appointees this year is attributed to the faculty's plan to expand the establishment of new and distinguished medical programs, in addition to the new expansions west and east of the Nile.
