A medical team at Beni Suef University Hospitals succeeded in Scoliosis Correction Surgery for a patient.

 Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the success of the medical team in the Neurosurgery Department at the Faculty of Medicine in correcting a spinal curvature for a patient. This case marks the 100th in Scoliosis Correction Surgery, which is a significant milestone in the department's journey towards providing advanced medical services. This was under the supervision of Dr. Hani Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of the University Hospitals. 
The medical team also included Dr. Mohamed Shaban Mahmoud, Professor and Head of the Department, Dr. Abdel Rahman Saber, responsible for following up on scoliosis surgeries, and the participation of  Dr. Mustafa Fikry and Dr. Mahmoud Ramadan.
For his part, the university president congratulated the medical team on this outstanding medical achievement, which is an honorable example of what university competencies can offer in terms of advanced health services. He noted that performing such precise surgeries reflects the level of development the university hospital has reached in terms of human and technical capabilities. The university is always keen to support all efforts that help raise the quality of services provided to citizens.
