President of Beni-Suef University receives the final judging committee for the Government Excellence Award

Dr. Tareq Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, received the final judging committee for the Government Excellence Award, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. The university's participation in the award involved 26 faculties, with five faculties qualifying for the second round.

The visit was part of the fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Planning, the Egyptian Government Excellence Award, and the Supreme Council of Universities. This was attended by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Mahmoud Zaki, former President of Tanta University. The award delegation also included Ms. Soha Saeed, Executive Director of the Government Excellence Award, Dr. Ahmed Siddiq, Director of Evaluation and Quality, and Ms. Mona Abdel Nabi, Head of Institutional and Individual Awards, Ms. Maha Ahmed, Evaluation Officer, Mr. Walid Hussein, Logistics Support Officer, Ms. Rehab Abdel Samee, Communications and Documentation Officer, and Ms. Sally Abdel Latif, Institutional Awards Officer. The university delegation included Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the College of Computers and Information, Dr. Jumaa Saeed, Director of the Capacity Development Center, Ms. Intisar Mohamed, Logistics Support Officer, and the university's resident team.

In his speech, Dr. Tariq Ali welcomed the committee members, emphasizing that the Egypt Award for Government Excellence is one of the state's most important mechanisms for developing the administrative system. It works to create an efficient and effective system that keeps pace with the requirements of sustainable development and is in line with Egypt's Vision 2030. He pointed out that the award contributes to strengthening the culture of institutional excellence within universities, enhance the spirit of competitiveness among colleges, which will be reflected in the quality of academic and administrative performance, and to develop human capabilities in line with the state's plans to transition towards distinguished government performance.

The university and the committee exchanged commemorative shields, and the committee honored the university's excellence team with appreciation certificates for their efforts in applying award standards and evaluation mechanisms. During the event, the university president and committee members exchanged honorary shields. Dr. Tariq Ali presented the university's shield to the committee members, while Ms. Suha Saeed, the award's executive director, presented Dr. Tariq with the Government Excellence Shield in appreciation of the university's role in supporting quality and excellence standards.

The committee members expressed their appreciation for Beni Suef University and its outstanding achievements at the academic and administrative levels, praising the diversity of its faculties and unique programs, as well as the human and material resources it possesses that qualify it to achieve leadership in the field of higher education.
