At Beni Suef University, a symposium titled "First Aid Equals Saving a Life" was held in cooperation between the Faculties of Nursing and Special Needs Sciences.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences organized a the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, held an awareness seminar entitled “First Aid Equals Saving a Life.” The seminar was supervised by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Heba Allah Mahmoud Abu Al-Nil, Dean of the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, and Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawy, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, with the participation of Dr. Haitham Naji, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shahawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Ezzazi, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Dr. Sherine El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the College of Nursing; and Dr. Mohamed Rashdan, Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Unit
The seminar, which featured Dr. Walaa Khalaf Gouda, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the College of Nursing
The seminar covered the scientific foundations and practical skills of first aid, as well as the proper handling of emergency situations to save lives both inside and outside the university
The seminar was well attended by faculty members, support staff, and undergraduate and graduate students. The attendees engaged in a lively discussion and provided valuable input, reflecting students' awareness of the importance of first aid training as a core component of university health culture.
