Beni Suef University ranked 7th locally and 99th in the Arab world

Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university ranked ninety-ninth (99) Among 298 universities in the Arab region, it ranked seventh (7) among Egyptian universities this year according to the QS World University Rankings 2026. This is a continuation of the university's successes in reaching the highest levels in international rankings.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the university has made significant progress this year, advancing eight places compared to last year among Arab universities, and nine places higher than last year among Egyptian universities He pointed out that the QS World University Rankings relies on a set of indicators to measure the performance of global universities in four key areas: research, employability, learning experience, and internationalization. He noted that this distinction reflects the university's growing academic and professional standing and reputation
Dr. Sama El-Daq, Director of the Office of International Classification and Sustainable Development, added that the QS ranking also relies on a university's academic and employment reputation, accounting for up to 50% of its weight. Therefore, Beni Suef University's year-over-year progress in the QS rankings confirms its strong academic and employment reputation, consistently moving upwards
