Beni-Suef University Faculty Member Selected as a Member of the National Committee for Earth Sciences

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, announced the selection of Dr. Mostafa Abdel-Azeem Masoud, Lecturer in the Department of Geology, as a member of the National Committee for Earth Sciences. This committee is one of the specialized scientific committees affiliated with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and forms part of the national committee system that represents Egypt in corresponding international scientific unions and organizations.
The University President extended his congratulations to the Faculty of Science for having one of its members represented on this important committee. He explained that the committee represents Egypt internationally in the field of Earth sciences within global scientific unions. It aims to strengthen scientific collaboration between Egyptian researchers and their international counterparts, disseminate scientific knowledge, and update the Egyptian research community on the latest developments in Earth sciences. The committee also participates in organizing national and international conferences and workshops in fields such as geology, geophysics, climate sciences, and seismology, in addition to contributing to national policies related to the management of natural resources and geological hazards.
