Beni Suef University Organizes a Comprehensive Development Convoy to Al-Awawna Village in Ihnasia

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, supervised by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized a comprehensive development convoy to Al-Awawna Village in Ihnasia. The initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing series of integrated development convoys aimed at serving villages across the governorate.
Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that these convoys reflect the university’s efforts to strengthen its connection with the local community and to provide integrated services to citizens in the most underserved areas, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and national initiatives. He added that the university will continue to dispatch integrated convoys to various villages across the governorate, contributing to the improvement of healthcare, social, educational, environmental, agricultural, and veterinary services. He also stressed the importance of raising community awareness in accordance with the directives of the political leadership and Egypt’s future vision.
The university president explained that the convoy included participation from several faculties, such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Disability Sciences, Education, and Social Work. A large student delegation from “Students for Egypt” and the General Administration for Environmental Projects also took part. Each faculty provided specialized services— the Faculty of Medicine offered medical examinations and treatment, while the Faculty of Pharmacy provided pharmaceutical consultations. This diversity of services reflects the university’s commitment to addressing community needs and reinforces its role as an educational institution devoted to improving the quality of life in underserved areas. The initiative was met with great appreciation from the local residents.
It is worth noting that the residents and village leaders expressed their gratitude to the university for its efforts in supporting the local community, praising the fruitful cooperation between the university and civil society organizations. They affirmed that the convoy significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of services provided, demonstrating the university’s dedication to promoting sustainable development in the most in-need areas and reinforcing its role as a beacon of knowledge and service committed to the well-being of all citizens.
