Beni Suef University Hospitals Receive 20,000 Patients During October

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university hospitals have witnessed intensive activity across all departments during the first half of October, as outpatient clinics, emergency units, and specialized centers recorded figures reflecting the growing demand for medical services.

He explained that the outpatient clinics received more than 20,000 patients, with a daily average exceeding 1,000 cases, demonstrating the increasing trust in the quality of medical care provided. The emergency department handled 7,428 cases, averaging around 413 patients per day. He noted that the coming period will see greater attention given to priority and pediatric cases, especially after equipping the hospital with a new device dedicated to the critical care unit, which will enhance the hospital’s ability to provide better services for patients.

Dr. Tarek Ali reaffirmed the university’s commitment to reducing waiting times as part of the hospital’s role in serving the Beni Suef community, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services and alleviating citizens’ burdens.

In the same context, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, stated that the Specialized Medical Center received 1,559 patients during September, a figure that reflects the center’s important role in providing accurate and specialized medical care.

Meanwhile, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, affirmed that these figures highlight the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services, noting that there are future plans to expand capacity and enhance service quality in line with the health needs and expectations of citizens.
