Faculty of Social Work in Beni Suef organizes a scientific forum for social workers in the Directorate of Education

Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the university’s colleges and the Directorate of Education, the Faculty of Social Developmental Work organized a scientific forum for social workers. This came under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Fadl Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Noha Mohamed Helal, Head of the Department of Community Work and General Supervisor of Field Training, and in the presence of a number of faculty members and staff of the Faculty.
The university president emphasized the paramount importance of joint and constructive cooperation with the Directorate of Education, praising the "tangible efforts of this integration in refining and developing the professional skills of social workers." Dr. Tariq Ali stated that this cooperation represents a fundamental pillar "for improving the quality of social services as a whole."
In a move reflecting the depth of the partnership, the university president noted that Ms. Amal El-Hawary, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Beni Suef Governorate, received the delegation accompanying the Dean of the Faculty of Social Work and Development. For her part, the Undersecretary welcomed the delegation, praising "the pivotal role and constructive efforts undertaken by the faculty in supporting the educational process, particularly the field training programs for students," which aligns with the university's vision of preparing qualified personnel for the job market.
The university president noted that the event was not limited to the academic aspect, as the scientific forum included a specialized workshop to develop the professional skills of social workers supervising the training of students from the Faculty of Developmental Social Work in the school setting. He emphasized that these initiatives primarily aim to exchange high-quality experiences and enhance specialized knowledge in the field of social work. The university president concluded his statement by affirming that organizing such meetings reflects the shared interest in qualifying students and ensuring high-quality supervision of their practical training, which greatly strengthens the fruitful cooperation between Beni Suef University and the Directorate of Education.
