Faculty of Social Service "Beni Suef" organizes an awareness seminar entitled "Correct Your Misconceptions"

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of the university's keenness on community awareness and correcting misconceptions, the Faculty of Social Work and Development, in cooperation with the Beni Suef Media Center, organized an awareness seminar entitled "Correct Your Misconceptions" with the active participation of "Students for Egypt" and under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, and prepared and implemented by Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Noha Mohamed Helal El-Shoubry, Head of the Department of Work with Communities and Organizations, and Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of Students for Egypt. The speakers included Dr. Mohamed Saad Amin, Director General of Media for North Upper Egypt at the State Information Service of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Mohamed Saad, Vice Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Noha Mohamed, Head of the Department of Work with Communities and Organizations at the Faculty. This came in the presence of a number of faculty members and the teaching assistants of the Faculty.
Dr. Tariq Ali affirmed that the seminar underscored the university's leading role in community development and raising awareness among its students. The seminar included an in-depth interactive dialogue with students from the Faculty of Social Work and Development, focusing on the need to correct misconceptions prevalent in society.
The seminar also addressed a number of community issues and targeted development initiatives, aiming to raise students' awareness of the importance of their future role as social workers. Attendees described the interaction during the meeting as "fruitful and constructive," as it provided students with an opportunity to ask questions and discuss their understanding of key issues affecting society. The seminar was well-attended by faculty and staff members, reflecting the college's commitment to enhancing the educational and practical development of its students.
