The Council of Beni Suef University honors the team from the Faculty of Earth Sciences for winning three shields at the International Conference on Water and Energy in the Middle East and Africa

The Council of Beni Suef University, chaired by Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, honored the team from the Faculty of Earth Sciences participating in the International Conference on Water and Energy in the Middle East and Africa during its 251st session. This recognition, part of Beni Suef University's commitment to supporting scientific and research excellence, acknowledged the team's achievement of winning three awards for their outstanding participation in the conference. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, deans of faculties, and members of the Council.
Dr. Tariq Ali congratulated the winning team, which includes Dr. Fathi Muhammad Ahmad, Dr. Aya Muhammad Abdullah, teaching assistants Aya Hassan Abdul Hamid and Mahmoud Abdul Raziq, Radina Muhammad Sayed, researchers Shaimaa Muhammad Fikri, Farha Muhammad Ibrahim and Noha Khalaf Muhammad, and students Mahmoud Omar Ahmad and Islam Walid Al-Sayed. The university president praised the team’s outstanding performance and the research and applied projects they presented, which reflect the university’s leadership in the fields of energy, water and sustainable development.
The university president affirmed that this achievement reflects the university’s efforts in supporting its students to participate in international scientific events, and expresses the advanced level that the Faculty of Earth Sciences has reached in the fields of scientific research and modern applications to serve environmental and energy issues.
For their part, the team members expressed their happiness at this honor, stressing that what was achieved is the result of cooperation and integration between faculty members and students, and thanking the university administration for its continuous support and encouragement of innovation and scientific excellence.
