Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences organized a community awareness activity entitled "Your Guide to Free Training Grants for People with Special Needs," as part of the fourth day of the presidential initiative "Tamkeen." This was under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Heba Abu El-Nil, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Haitham Nagi Abdel-Hakim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Director of the Center for Student Services for People with Special Needs, Dr. Alfat El-Sherif, Deputy Director of the Center, and in the presence of the faculty's vice deans, a number of faculty members, and a group of researchers and students from various faculties of the university.
Dr. Tariq explained that this event comes in cooperation between the Student Services Center for People with Special Needs, the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, and the  Association "Kayan" for People with Special Needs in Beni Suef, to introduce the “Kayan for Youth” project funded by the Foundation "Asmae Egypt" , which offers three main activities for young people, including: promoting participation, building capacities, and implementing initiatives and recreational days for the age group from 14 to 23 years.
The event witnessed an atmosphere of positive interaction, reflecting the university’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering people with special needs and integrating them into society, in line with the goals of the presidential initiative “Tamkeen” in promoting inclusion and equality.
