The Council of Beni Suef University approves the launch of a community initiative entitled "Awareness" to develop tourism and archaeological awareness in the governorate.

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of the University, approved in its session No. (251) the proposal of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels to launch a community initiative entitled “Awareness” to develop tourism and archaeological awareness in the governorate. This came in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the faculties, and members of the Council.
Dr. Tariq Ali emphasized that the initiative comes within the framework of the university’s community role and its keenness to contribute to the development of cultural and tourism awareness among its students and members of the community, noting that the university seeks through this initiative to highlight the tourist and archaeological assets that the governorate abounds in, in a way that contributes to supporting national identity and strengthening belonging to the community.
