The Council of Beni Suef University approves holding a series of seminars, workshops, and awareness forums in the university's faculties.

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of the University, approved, in its 251st session, holding a series of seminars, workshops, and awareness forums in the university’s colleges. This came in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the deans of the colleges, and members of the Council.
The university president explained that a series of awareness seminars will be held at the Faculty of Social Work, including one on "Addiction and Drugs," another on "Building Identity and National Belonging," as well as seminars on "Recycling and the Green Economy" and "Energy and Water Conservation." Several seminars will also be organized at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, including one on "The October Victories and Citizenship Development," and a monthly workshop that will rotate between departments according to the approved seminar plan at the faculty level.
At the Faculty of Applied Arts, a seminar titled "No to Bullying" will be held, in addition to a series of seminars on "Combating Corruption and Promoting the Values ??of Integrity and Transparency." Meanwhile, at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, a seminar titled "First Aid" will be held in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, along with another titled "Egyptian Foreign Policy in Light of Intertwined Regional Challenges and Crises."
At the Faculty of Arts, an introductory seminar will be held on "The Role of the College's Social Solidarity Office and its Services for Students," along with a seminar titled "The Role of Geomatics Applications in Serving the Community." At the Faculty of Computers and Information, a seminar will be held to activate a protocol with Future Company, with a representative from the company in attendance. These activities are part of the university's ongoing efforts to enhance awareness and knowledge among students and provide the necessary support for developing their skills and abilities in various fields.
Furthermore, a series of workshops will be held at the Faculty of Social Work, addressing "Skills and Labor Market Requirements." At the Faculty of Languages, a workshop on "Modern Translation Methods" will be organized, in addition to a workshop on "First Aid." At the Faculty of Navigation and Space Technology, a free workshop will be held for students in the Applied Sciences of Space and Navigation program, covering web and mobile GIS and SCADA GIS technologies.
At the Faculty of Arts, a workshop titled "The Faculty's Knowledge Bank" will be held, in addition to a workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) titled "Managing Universities Towards Achieving SDG." At the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, a workshop on "First Aid = Saving Lives" will be held in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, along with a workshop specifically for families of children attending the rehabilitation center affiliated with the Faculty of Physical Therapy.
At the Faculty of Earth Sciences, a workshop titled "Towards a Sustainable Mining System" will be held, including two seminars on "Safety in Industry and Risk Management" and "Modern Technologies in Mineral and Rock Extraction." Several other events will also be organized, including a job fair for graduates at the Faculty of Social Work and a "Start Early" job fair at the Faculty of Arts, in partnership with Neutrans Translation Services. Dr. Tariq Ali noted that these activities are part of the university's ongoing efforts to enhance students' practical skills and provide them with employment opportunities, thus better preparing them for the job market.
