The Council of Beni Suef University approves the establishment of the "Document and Information Systems and Digital Transformation" unit in the Faculty of Arts.

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of the University, approved in its session No. 251 the establishment of the “Document and Information Systems and Digital Transformation” unit in the Faculty of Arts, within the framework of the university’s plan for digital transformation and the development of document and information management systems in order to enhance the efficiency of institutional performance.
This took place in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Muhammad, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, college clients, and members of the council.
The unit aims to develop paper document systems within the college, and to preserve and retrieve them in a secure digital format that allows for optimal use of the information they contain, thereby contributing to supporting decision-making and achieving transparency and speed of completion.
In this context, Dr. Tarek Ali stressed that the establishment of the unit comes in light of the state’s direction towards digital transformation and modernization of the information infrastructure within academic institutions, noting that Beni Suef University always seeks to apply the latest technological systems in educational and research management.
For her part, Dr. Azza Gohary, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, explained that the unit represents a qualitative leap in organizing and managing documents at the college, and will contribute to preserving academic and administrative history in a modern scientific and methodological way, in accordance with the national standards for digital transformation and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
