Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Public  Relations and Advertising Department of the Faculty of Mass Communication launched An awareness campaign titled "Kemet" aims to revive Egyptian identity and enhance cultural and artistic awareness among young people

The campaign was launched under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Nasreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs; and Dr. Noha El-Telawy, Head of the Department

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the campaign comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to support student creativity and encourage purposeful youth initiatives that enhance national identity, noting that the “Kemet” campaign seeks to highlight Egyptian heritage and art as a soft power that expresses Egypt’s ancient civilization, through combining authenticity and modernity with a contemporary creative spirit

He added that the campaign aims to instill a spirit of belonging and national pride in young people, develop visual culture and strengthen their connection to their artistic and cultural history as an integral part of Egyptian identity, stressing that this step is in line with the Egyptian state’s vision of consolidating the values ??of belonging and pride in Egyptian civilization, and the role of universities in building a generation aware of its culture and history

Dr. Mamdouh Makawi explained that the campaign comes as a continuation of a number of previous initiatives launched by the college to support cultural and artistic identity, with the participation of a group of students from the Department of Public Relations and Advertising who presented an innovative youth vision that embodies the richness of Egyptian civilization in a modern style that reflects the spirit of creativity and national belonging
