President of Beni Suef University: Receiving 24,000 patients at the clinics and 11,000 at the emergency department at Beni Suef University hospitals during last October.

 Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, stated that the university hospitals witnessed increased activity during the last month of October Across its various departments, the university recorded 24,659 outpatient visits, 11,760 emergency room visits, and 3,311 inpatient admissions. These figures reflect the increasing demand for medical services

The university president explained that during October, university hospitals received about 822 outpatient visits and 392 emergency room visits daily, while specialized centers received around 47 cases daily. These statistics reflect growing confidence in the quality of healthcare services provided and underscore the efforts made to efficiently and promptly meet citizens' healthcare needs

The university president indicated that the coming period will witness increased attention to priority cases and pediatric cases, especially after the hospital was equipped with a specialized device for the critical care department. This will enhance the hospital's ability to provide better services to patients. He emphasized the university's commitment to reducing waiting lists as part of the hospital's role in serving the Suef community, contributing to improving the level of medical services provided and easing the burden on citizens

In a related context, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, noted that the number of patients  who visit the specialized center during the last month of September reached 1,419

The center performs MRI scans, pathology tests, electromyography (EMG), and a number of other services, reflecting the vital role it plays in providing precise and specialized care to patients

Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of the hospitals, emphasized that these figures demonstrate the hospital's commitment to delivering outstanding healthcare services. He also noted that there are future plans to expand capacity and enhance the quality of care, in line with the aspirations and healthcare needs of the community
