Veterinary faculty in Beni Suef organizes a workshop entitled "Integrating Ethics and Nanotechnology in Animal Care and Humane Solutions for Publishing in Animal Studies"

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Veterinary organized a workshop entitled " "Integrating Ethics and Nanotechnology in Animal Care and Humane Solutions for Publishing in Animal Studies" This workshop, "Translating Ethics into Practice: A Workshop on Animal Care and Humane Solutions: Integrating Nanotechnology, Ethics, and Publishing in Animal Studies," was supervised by Dr. Khaled El-Nesr, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Narmin Atef El-Shimy, Vice Dean for Community Service; and Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Rahman El-Babli, Professor of Public Health and Zoonotic Diseases at the Faculty. It was prepared and organized by the Ethics Committee for the Care and Use of Experimental Animals in Research and Education at the Faculty of Veterinary The workshop was presented by Dr. Fatima Abu El-Ela, Dr. Asmaa Kamal, and Dr. Manar Bahaa. Attendees included the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mahmoud El-Bejawy, Professor of Pathology at the Faculty, Dr. Ramadan Tawfik from the Beni Suef Veterinary Directorate, and a number of faculty members and students
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the ethics committee's standards regarding the use of animals in scientific research. He emphasized that the program would address how to ensure the necessary ethical approvals for animal use protocols, which is crucial for guaranteeing research safety and ethics
Dr. Tariq Ali added that the workshop also provided practical skills for handling laboratory animals, which enhancing the researchers' competence in this field. The workshop also addressed key points related to international publishing ethics, as well as the safe disposal of laboratory animals and research waste.
He noted the importance of such workshops in promoting ethical awareness among researchers, which contributes to improving the quality of research and reflects the university's commitment to high ethical standards in all areas of scientific research. He expressed his hope that this event would contribute to developing the participants' skills and enhancing their capabilities in animal welfare and ethical scientific research
