Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized an orientation day for postgraduate students. This was under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs and Supervisor of the Faculty, and prepared and organized by Dr. Nahla Mohamed Helmy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Mahmoud Moawad, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty, and the heads of departments. The speakers included Dr. Evan Edward, from the Pharaohs Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotels, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Nour El-Din, Head of the Tourist Guides Syndicate in Giza Governorate, and Dr. Shaimaa El-Nahhas, Director of the Scholarship Affairs Follow-up Office

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the orientation day included a series of short seminars aimed at familiarizing postgraduate students with the university's centers and units that support the educational process in this vital sector. A group of experts shared valuable information and advice with the students, based on their practical experience

This added an informative dimension to the event. The graduates of the Tourism Guidance Diploma program for the 2024/2025 cohort were also honored in a special ceremony recognizing their efforts and achievements. Furthermore, the college's administrative and graduate studies staff were recognized for their effective contributions to enhancing the academic environment.

The university president emphasized that this event is a fundamental part of the university's ongoing strategy to strengthen communication between students and faculty and to foster a productive learning environment that supports the pursuit of learning and innovation.
