Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence organized a sports day for its students as part of the 100 Days of Sports initiative, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Hisham Mohamed Eid, Director of the Faculty, and a number of faculty members and students.
Dr. Tariq Ali explained that the university pays great attention to student activities alongside academic achievement, stressing that practicing sports contributes to building an integrated personality for the student that combines a sound mind and an active body. The sports day activities included organizing many sports and recreational events and competitions that received a wide response from the students, amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Dr. Mohammed Qaid emphasized that the university is always keen to hold such activities because of their positive impact on developing students’ skills and enhancing team spirit and cooperation among them, praising the outstanding efforts made by the Youth Welfare Department in preparing and organizing to ensure the success of the sports day.
