Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, and within the framework of strengthening the practical component of students' learning and linking theoretical courses with the real-world applications of the food industry, the Faculty of Agriculture organized a scientific field visit for its students to Juhayna Food Industries. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Mohamed El-Ramly, Vice Dean for Community Service; Dr. Mahmoud El-Wakeel, Head of the Food Science Department; and Dr. Osama Safwat, Head of the Dairy Science Department, with the participation of a number of assistant staff members.
The University President stated that the field visit included intensive meetings with specialists and engineers working at Juhayna. It also featured extensive guided tours for students to closely observe the various production stages across dairy and juice production lines. Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the primary objective of these activities is to enhance the students’ applied knowledge and practical skills, and to help bridge the gap between academic study and the practical reality of major food industries—ultimately contributing to preparing graduates capable of effectively integrating into the labor market.
