President of Beni-Suef University Chairs Meetings of the “Projects” and “Software” Committees

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, chaired today the meetings of both the Higher Committee of the Unit for Managing and Developing Higher Education Projects and the Unit for Software Design and Development. The meetings were attended by Dr. Shaaban Mobarez, Financial Advisor; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Director of the Higher Education Projects Development Unit; as well as members of the two Boards of Directors.
During the meeting of the Higher Education Projects Management Unit, Dr. Tarek reviewed the mechanisms for implementing the unit’s comprehensive development plan, which aligns with his vision to support digital transformation within the university and enhance the efficiency of its technological infrastructure. The plan includes establishing an integrated technical reference to facilitate maintenance, development, and crisis management; supporting the training of technical personnel; preventing errors during future expansion; strengthening cybersecurity; and improving network stability within the Education Complex. These efforts are expected to enable the university to expand more efficiently, reduce failures caused by system overload, enhance user experience, and ensure the protection of vital data and ease of access at any time.
The meeting also discussed several topics, including the design of an electronic form to develop a database for internally and externally funded research projects and grant-related research for master's and doctoral degrees on the international publishing platform; establishing an electronic system for registering applicants for academic tests and training courses; creating a dedicated system for university dormitories; and developing an electronic system for booking promotion courses for faculty members, their assistants, and students.
During the meeting of the Higher Committee of the Software Design and Development Unit, the committee presented its achievements during the past period as part of its efforts to enhance the operational system and improve service quality. Committee members also discussed the key challenges facing the unit. The University President emphasized the importance of supporting the committee and overcoming all obstacles to ensure the continuity of efficient work and the achievement of targeted goals.
