Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Beni Suef University was elected as Chairman of the National Committee for Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Genetic Sciences.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the election of Dr. Abdel-Latif Hesham Abdel-Latif, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, as Chairman of the National Committee for Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Genetic Sciences—one of the most prominent national committees affiliated with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Tarek explained that this selection reflects the great confidence placed in the scientific competencies at Beni Suef University and affirms the ability of its academic leaders to represent Egypt in specialized scientific bodies. The national committees are high-level scientific entities comprising distinguished experts and specialists in various fields. They are responsible for representing Egypt in corresponding international unions and organizations, in addition to supporting scientific policies and promoting research and innovation fields.
Dr. Tarek extended his congratulations to Dr. Abdel-Latif Hesham, affirming that the University is proud of this achievement, which strengthens its scientific presence at both the local and international levels and supports its efforts to advance scientific research and serve the community.
