Beni Suef University Council Approves Field Visit for Faculty of Agriculture Students to Kafr El-Zayat Pesticides and Chemicals Factory

The Beni Suef University Council, chaired by Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, approved in its 252nd session a field visit for Faculty of Agriculture students to the Kafr El-Zayat Pesticides and Chemicals Factory. The visit is part of the university’s efforts to connect academic study with practical applications within production institutions.

The session was attended by Dr. Abu Al-Hasan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, deans of faculties, and council members.

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the visit aims to provide students with real-world experience in the pesticides and chemicals industry, familiarize them with different production stages, and introduce them to the quality control systems used within the factory. This experience contributes to preparing students for the labor market and developing their practical skills.

Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, noted that the visit is part of the faculty’s training plan to enhance students’ capabilities and link academic knowledge with practical application in industrial settings. He stressed the faculty’s commitment to offering diverse training and field opportunities that support students’ academic and professional development.
