A faculty member from the Faculty of Law at Beni Suef University was selected within the technical secretariat for establishing branches of foreign universities.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the selection of Dr. Mahmoud Hussein Sayed, a specialist in international law at the Faculty of Law, to serve on the technical secretariat of the committee responsible for reviewing and studying applications to establish branches of foreign universities and university institutions within the Arab Republic of Egypt. This appointment is for a one-year term, under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Abeer Mohamed Reda Shater, Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Technical Affairs.
Dr. Tariq Ali explained that the selection of a representative from Beni Suef University within the technical secretariat confirms the prestigious scientific standing that the university has achieved in recent years, and reflects the confidence that the Ministry of Higher Education places in the university’s staff and academic expertise. He emphasized that the university continues to support its faculty members to participate in specialized national committees, within the framework of supporting scientific competencies and representing the university in specialized committees at the state level, which contributes to enhancing the scientific and research role of the university at the local and international levels.
For his part, Dr. Adel Abu Hashima, Dean of the Faculty of Law, affirmed that the selection of Dr. Mahmoud Hussein to the Technical Secretariat is a distinguished achievement for the Faculty and Beni Suef University as a whole, reflecting the scientific competence and research excellence of the Faculty's faculty members. He explained that the participation of the Faculty of Law's staff in high-level national committees contributes to strengthening the Faculty's role in shaping educational and legal policies.
