“Building the Personal Identity of Emerging Researchers” Training Course at Beni-Suef University’s Faculty of Physical Therapy

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Physical Therapy organized a training course for its academic staff titled “Building the Personal Identity of Emerging Researchers: Tools and Foundations,” aimed at developing a strong research identity for early-career researchers, considered a valuable investment in the future of the faculty and the university.

The course was held under the supervision of Dr. Sherine Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy; Dr. Abeer Sayed Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center; Dr. Sahar Moawad, Head of the Quality Unit; and Dr. Marwa Qotb, Head of the Training Unit. The sessions were delivered by Dr. Yasser Gaber, the University’s Scientific Advisor, with active participation from attendees who were keen on acquiring new skills to support their professional and research development.

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that Beni-Suef University prioritizes the development of faculty members’ research capabilities, as they form the foundation of a strong, competitive, and innovative university. The university administration strives to provide a supportive environment that allows faculty members to enhance their skills and research outputs, which are essential for advancing the university’s scientific research system.

Dr. Sherine Hassan highlighted the Faculty of Physical Therapy’s commitment to supporting emerging researchers and equipping them with tools that ensure a strong and impactful start to their research careers. The course aimed to enhance researchers’ competencies and provide them with skills that strengthen their scientific and professional excellence. The sessions covered key scientific principles and practical tools that enable early-career researchers to build a strong research identity, contributing to the development of their academic paths and enhancing their scientific presence.
