Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing organized an educational awareness seminar for students of Abu Bakr Primary School on the prevention of infectious diseases. The seminar was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hanan El-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Sherine Sherif, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Sahar Sedky, Head of the Pediatric Nursing Department.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that this seminar is part of an initiative to raise health awareness among school students and educate them on methods of preventing infectious diseases. This includes raising awareness about modes of transmission, the importance of personal hygiene, regular handwashing, and ensuring they receive necessary vaccinations. The seminar also aims to promote healthy behaviors that contribute to protecting individuals and the community. He noted that these activities are part of the university's community outreach efforts, aimed at supporting community health and building a conscious generation capable of protecting themselves and others, thus contributing to reducing the spread of diseases and enhancing the quality of life.
