Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, discussed today the mechanisms for developing the Histopathology Laboratory at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. This discussion took place within the framework of the university's ambitious plan to support scientific research and provide a comprehensive academic environment for researchers and faculty members. The meeting was attended by Dr. Khaled El-Nesr, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Arafa Moshref, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Narmin Atef, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs; Dr. Taghreed Nabil, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies; Dr. Sabry Tamam, former Dean; Dr. Mahmoud El-Bagawy, Professor Emeritus and Director of the Laboratory's Board of Directors; and Dr. Shaimaa Nabil, Head of the Department.

During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of regular and continuous maintenance of the laboratory, particularly the ice microtome, as it is a fundamental component in serving the research and educational process. He stressed that the university spares no effort in providing all necessary resources to develop the research infrastructure.

He explained that the Histopathology Laboratory is a specialized facility serving a wide range of researchers in veterinary medicine and medical sciences. It provides advanced capabilities for tissue analysis and high-precision sample examination, contributing to the improvement of the quality of internationally published scientific research.

He also directed that any problems researchers or students might encounter while using the laboratory be resolved promptly and without delay, ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of the research process.

Dr. Khaled El-Nesser noted that the college is working to regularly update its equipment and provide the latest global technologies in accordance with international standards. Furthermore, it is training technical and administrative staff on the use of modern equipment to ensure its optimal utilization and achieve the highest levels of efficiency.

It is worth mentioning that the university president toured several laboratories within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, where he reviewed the modern equipment and available resources supporting the educational and research process. He emphasized the university's commitment to enhancing the quality of education and implementing the latest scientific standards, contributing to the development of distinguished professionals in the field of veterinary medicine.
