Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the launch of the first Scientific Day activities for the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, under the supervision of
Dr. Samaa Imam El-Daq, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Mai Mohamed Raslan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.
The University President explained that this event comes within the framework of the Faculty's ongoing role in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030, and in strengthening the national strategy for higher education by encouraging interdisciplinary research and developing the capabilities of researchers and students. He pointed out that the activities included the presentation of a group of distinguished research papers presented by researchers and students from various departments of the Faculty, reflecting the diversity of specializations and the richness of interdisciplinary research.
Dr. Samaa Imam El-Daq, in her speech, emphasized the importance of scientific research as a fundamental pillar of development and progress, praising the active role of faculty members in supporting researchers through scientific advice and continuous assistance.
It is worth noting that the event was attended by a number of department heads, faculty members and assistant staff, in addition to a large gathering of researchers and students, in a fruitful scientific atmosphere that confirms the college’s keenness to consolidate the culture of research and innovation.
