The students of the faculty of Mass Communication visit the Moral Affairs Department of the Armed Forces
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and in cooperation with the Military Education Department, and under the supervision of Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department, the University organized a field visit for students of the Faculty of Mass Communication to the Armed Forces Moral Affairs Department.
The Faculty's delegation was headed by Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, and included Professor Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Attia, Coordinator of the English Language Department, and a number of faculty members and teaching assistants.
This visit comes as part of the university’s keenness to raise awareness among its students and to familiarize them with the role of the Egyptian Armed Forces in protecting the homeland, in addition to highlighting the state’s efforts in implementing national and developmental projects in various fields.
For his part, the university president affirmed that this visit comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the capabilities and potential of the armed forces, which contributes to strengthening their sense of belonging and national awareness, in addition to introducing them to the concept of national security and its comprehensive dimensions, and the role of national institutions in protecting it. The visit also contributes to supporting students’ understanding of the vital role that the media plays in conveying facts, confronting rumors, and building an enlightened societal awareness capable of understanding the challenges surrounding the country.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their appreciation for organizing this event, stressing its importance in learning about the achievements on the ground and the efforts made by state institutions to maintain the security and stability of the nation.
