Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Politics and Economics organized a seminar entitled “Protocol and Etiquette Management,” as the first training session for students of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs simulation model. This was under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Nour El-Basrati, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Shaimaa Abdel Salam, Academic Supervisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs simulation model. Ms. Rania Hussein, an expert in protocol and etiquette, lectured at the seminar, amidst a wide attendance and interaction from the students of the Faculty and the participation of a number of students from different faculties.

Dr. Tariq explained that organizing this seminar comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to prepare qualified student cadres who possess the professional and behavioral skills necessary for the labor market, especially in the fields of diplomacy and international relations, which contributes to building an integrated personality for the university student. The seminar addressed the introduction to the foundations and rules of official protocol and etiquette in various dealings, and the mechanisms of effective communication in professional and diplomatic environments, in addition to developing skills for dealing in official occasions, which enhances the students’ capabilities and qualifies them for honorable representation in various forums.
