The President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the training camp activities for students of the Faculty of Development Social Service

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated today the activities of the second level training camp “Skills Training” at the Faculty of Development Social Service , in the presence of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi, Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Fadl Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies, Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, and members of the teaching staff and employees.
The university president explained that the camp is an integrated educational and training experience aimed at refining students’ skills and enhancing their spirit of cooperation and belonging before they graduate and enter the labor market, noting that the camp is held within the mandatory coursework, which reflects its importance in shaping the student’s professional and social personality.
The university president added that the camp is being implemented within the framework of the energy conservation campaign launched by the Cabinet, which the college has begun implementing to raise students’ awareness of the importance of conserving water, electricity, renewable energy, and other resources, in addition to the diverse activities included in the camp, which included sports, artistic, and literary aspects, as well as an art exhibition implemented by the students to develop their artistic and creative spirit.
Dr. Tariq Ali then toured the various departments of the college to check on the progress of work, inspecting the lecture halls and postgraduate students to ensure the smooth running of the educational and research process.
It should be noted that the training camp was implemented under the supervision of Dr. Mosaad Ibrahim, Director of the Training Unit, Dr. Dalia Sabry, Director of the Camps Unit, and Dr. Hossam Ramadan, Deputy Director of the Training Unit. The camp included 554 students. It began with the students gathering on the camp grounds, explaining the instructions to the students, practicing the various activities and programs, evaluating the camp's art exhibition, and an educational seminar for the students entitled "The Student's Ethical Charter," followed by the camp's closing ceremony.
