Faculty of Nursing at Beni-Suef University Participates in the International Scientific Conference at Fayoum University

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing participated in the activities of the International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Nursing at Fayoum University, held under the theme:
“The Future of Nursing in the Era of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.”

The conference was organized under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hanan El-Zablawi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the university’s participation in such international conferences reflects its commitment to scientific openness and the exchange of expertise with various academic institutions. This contributes to the development of the educational and research process and keeps pace with the latest global trends in medical fields, particularly amid the accelerating digital transformation. He also added that the university strongly supports the participation of faculty members in international scientific forums, which enhances its academic standing and improves the quality of its educational outcomes.

The faculty’s participation was represented by several academic departments. The Community Health Nursing Department presented a research paper titled:
“Wearable Health Technologies and Medication Safety in Older Adults”
presented by Dr. Aziza Mahmoud Abu Zeid Mohammed.

The Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing Department contributed two research papers. The first was titled:
“Innovation and AI Applications in Maternity Nursing”
presented by Dr. Hagar Kamal.

The second was titled:
“Technology and New Trends in Maternity Practices”
presented by Dr. Walaa Khalaf Gouda.

In support of Pediatric Nursing specialization, the department presented a paper titled:
“The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Improving Pediatric Nursing and Patient Outcomes”
presented by Dr. Marwa Abdullah Salem and Dr. Iman Habib.

The Nursing Administration Department, in collaboration with the Pediatric Nursing Department, also presented a paper titled:
“Transforming Nursing Practice Through Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence”
presented by Dr. Fatma Fouad El-Sayed and Dr. Fatma Sayed Abdel Aziz.

The Psychiatric Nursing Department participated with a paper titled:
“Predictive Care: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Patient Safety and Suicidality Assessment”
presented by Dr. Hala Ali Abdel Hai and Dr. Shaimaa Mahmoud Ahmed.

This active participation reflects the Faculty of Nursing at Beni-Suef University’s commitment to keeping pace with global developments in healthcare, particularly in the era of digital transformation. It also contributes to improving nursing practices, enhancing healthcare service quality, and strengthening scientific research and academic cooperation among universities.
