The President of Beni Suef University meets with a number of young researchers who completed the training program in cooperation with the Knowledge Bank.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, met with a number of young researchers from the university's faculty and teaching assistants who completed the specialized training program offered by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank

The project was implemented by the University Performance Development Center, under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Moawad, the center's director, as part of the university's ongoing efforts to enhance the scientific research system, develop academic competencies, raise the efficiency of research staff, and strengthen international publishing and innovation skills in accordance with global quality standards. Dr. YasserGaber, the university president's scientific advisor, was also present

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that these training programs are a cornerstone for building a qualified workforce capable of competing internationally, in line with the Egyptian state's direction towards supporting the knowledge economy and applied scientific research that serves society.

During the meeting, an open dialogue took place between the university president and the researchers regarding the extent to which they benefited from these courses and how to leverage this practical experience by giving them the opportunity to offer specialized courses in their respective faculties to share this valuable information with their colleagues.

It is worth mentioning that the training program, which lasted for five months, included a number of topics aimed at bridging the gap between academic research and practical application, including writing manuscripts and scientific research papers, academic writing techniques, choosing appropriate scientific journals and international publishing strategies, preparing funding proposals and research grants, and identifying funding agencies

Scientific arbitration skills, foundations of research integrity, writing review reports, developing university teaching skills, designing and developing courses, academic presentation and research communication skills, presenting scientific findings, research collaboration with industry, managing joint projects, obtaining industry funding, building a strong research portfolio, preparing to apply for research opportunities and academic positions, and collaborating with international researchers and research institutions.
