This initiative is part of the college's plan to support the role of veterinarians in serving the community and developing livestock resources.
The forum was attended by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Khaled El-Nesr, Dean of the College; Dr. Narmin Atef, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Arafa Moshref, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs; and Mr. Mohamed General, Secretary of the University, along with deans, vice deans, and faculty members from other colleges. The event reflected institutional cohesion and a commitment to preparing young professionals for the job market.
The forum began with the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran and a video presentation highlighting the college's efforts in supporting students and developing academic programs.
In his address, the university president emphasized that this forum represents a significant step towards opening new horizons for graduates and reflects the university's deep belief in the necessity of empowering young people and connecting them with the job market. This contributes to preparing qualified individuals capable of competing and achieving sustainable development. He affirmed that the forum serves as a genuine platform for exchanging experiences and perspectives on the challenges of the job market.
Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud stated that the university always strives to provide a comprehensive educational environment that enhances students' capabilities and opens promising opportunities for their future. He also highlighted the university's role in supporting the local community through academic and research activities.
For his part, Dr. Khaled El-Nasser explained that the Faculty of Veterinary is a cornerstone in serving the community through its role in preserving and developing livestock resources, which aligns with the Egyptian state's direction towards supporting innovation and scientific excellence.
Dr. Narmin Atef emphasized the importance of communication between students and experts through the "Round Table" session, affirming that this session would contribute to formulating important recommendations that support the university's efforts to link education with the job market and enhance the standing of the Faculty of Veterinary as a scientific institution that serves the community and keeps pace with future challenges.
It is worth noting that the forum included a number of awards that expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this event. Shields were presented to several prominent figures, including the university president, the vice president, the university general secretary and a number of professors and experts from both inside and outside the university.
