Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, met with students and graduates of the Faculties of Mass communication and Sports Sciences who participated in organizing the World Cup Fencing Championships (Individual and Team Foil) for men and women, which was held at Cairo International Stadium

They were excellent ambassadors for their country, as evidenced by Dr. Tarek Ali receiving an official letter from the Egyptian Fencing Federation thanking the participating university delegation, headed by Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Professor at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Director of National Teams in the official delegation. This took place in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Ragai, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, and Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication for Education and Student Affairs

Dr. Tarek Ali expressed his gratitude to the students, praising their commitment and discipline throughout the championship, which was commended by the Egyptian Fencing Federation. He emphasized that this excellence is not new to Beni Suef University students, who consistently demonstrate their competence in various arenas.

The university president also commended Dr. Ayman Ghoneim for his support and guidance of the students, stressing that the integrated efforts of faculty members and students are a key factor in their success. He further emphasized the university's continued support for its students' participation in international events, which contribute to honing their skills and developing their practical experience

It is worth noting that the university president received an official letter from the Egyptian Fencing Federation, in which the tournament director praised the performance of the university's students. They presented an exemplary model during their participation in organizing the tournament, demonstrating a high level of competence and professionalism. They served as ambassadors for Egypt, ensuring the event was presented in a manner befitting its international standing. Beni Suef University is the only university that has consistently participated in organizing international tournaments held by the Egyptian Fencing Federation in Egypt since 2017, reflecting its leading role in supporting sports and community activities and promoting its students' participation in major events
