The President of Beni Suef University chairs a number of meetings

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, chaired today the meetings of the Scientific Journals Unit, the International Students Department, the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, and the Supreme Committee for Faculty and Supporting Staff .Affairs This took place in the presence of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawjoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Mr/ Mohamed Selim, General Secretary of the University, Dr. Maha Ahmed, General Coordinator of the Scientific Journals Unit, Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Executive Director of the International Students Department, Dr. Ghada Atef, General Coordinator of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, and members of the Boards of Directors
During the meeting of the Higher Committee for Scientific Journals, the regulations for scientific journals were approved, along with the approval to issue the scientific journal of the College of Technology and Education, and the adoption of its vision, goals, mission, and subject areas, as well as the adoption of the logo and cover, and the formation of the Board of Directors, the Editorial Board, the Financial and Administrative Officer, and the Advisory Board, in addition to the approval to issue special annual and semi-annual issues of the College of Education Journal
At the International Students Office meeting, the activation of the online application process for postgraduate studies via the "Study in Egypt" platform was discussed. Several topics related to international students and their inquiries across various disciplines were also addressed. The university president emphasized the need to remove obstacles and streamline administrative procedures for these students.
The Anti-Violence Against Women Unit meeting also reviewed the activities and events implemented during the past period, including the "Words That Hurt, Words That Heal" campaign, and the collaboration with the National Council for Women on an awareness campaign to protect data and combat online violence
Through the lawyers of the governorate's complaints office, the problems received by the unit and the mechanisms for addressing them were discussed, and a comprehensive statistical overview of the nature of problems within the university's colleges was presented to assess the situation and determine future priorities.
During the meeting of the Higher Committee for Faculty and Staff Affairs, the mechanisms and criteria for transferring and seconding faculty members from within and outside the university were discussed, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, to ensure administrative discipline and job stability within the university system
