“Preserving the Egyptian Family Entity” Seminar at the Faculty of Education, Beni Suef University, as part of the “Mawadda” initiative

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Education organized an awareness seminar entitled “Preserving the Structure of the Egyptian Family,” within the framework of the presidential initiative “Mawadda.” The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Aboul Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Osama Mahmoud Korany, Dean of the Faculty of Education; and Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahnassawy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Gomaa Saied Tohami, Professor of Foundations of Education and Director of the University’s Human Resources Development Center.
Dr. Tarek stated that the seminar comes as part of the university’s societal and awareness-raising role, and its commitment to supporting family values and enhancing students’ social awareness, contributing to the building of a cohesive society grounded in responsibility and awareness. The seminar addressed several key topics related to the Egyptian family, including the importance of family awareness, strengthening values of understanding and cohesion, and the role of youth in building stable families capable of facing contemporary challenges.
Dr. Osama emphasized the university’s commitment to organizing awareness activities that support the stability of the Egyptian family, considering it the fundamental pillar for building a strong and cohesive society that contributes to achieving sustainable development.
The seminar witnessed notable engagement from attendees, in a positive atmosphere that encouraged the exchange of views and discussion of family-related issues, thereby promoting a culture of family awareness among students.
