President of Beni Suef University Attends the Final of the “Students for Egypt” Cup

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, attended today the final match of the “Students for Egypt” Cup between the Faculty of Physical Education and the Faculty of Medicine teams. The match concluded with the Faculty of Physical Education team winning by five goals to four in a penalty shootout, amid an enthusiastic atmosphere reflecting the spirit of belonging and competition among university students.

The event was attended by Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Wael Hozaine, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Ahmed Farouk, Coordinator of “Students for Egypt”; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University; and Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of Youth Welfare, in a scene reflecting the university’s strong institutional support for student activities.

The University President affirmed that sports activities constitute an essential part of the educational process, as they contribute to building students’ character and developing teamwork and cooperation skills. He praised the active role played by the “Students for Egypt” team in organizing such events that bring students together and provide them with opportunities to express their talents and creativity. He also noted that the university pays special attention to activities that promote national values and a sense of belonging.

For his part, Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud explained that the Education and Student Affairs Sector works to provide all forms of support for student activities, emphasizing that university sports represent an important pillar in preparing a generation capable of facing challenges.

Dr. Ahmed Farouk also expressed his pride in organizing this tournament through “Students for Egypt,” noting that it reflects the balance between academic excellence and extracurricular activities. He stressed that the tournament is not merely a sports competition, but rather a message affirming that Beni Suef University students are capable of achieving distinction in various fields. He further emphasized full support for such initiatives that strengthen the spirit of belonging and teamwork among students.

The event concluded with honoring the participating teams and distributing awards to the winners amid an atmosphere of joy and celebration of student achievements.
