Faculty of Pharmacy at Beni Suef University Organizes a Workshop on “Time Management and Coping with Exam Stress”

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a workshop entitled “Time Management and Coping with Exam Stress.” This was held under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Shahira Fawzy El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Adel Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Ahmed El-Tohami, Coordinator of the PharmD Program; and Dr. Karim Abdelkader Soufi, Coordinator of the Clinical Pharmacy PharmD Program. The workshop was conducted in cooperation with the Training Committee of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty, and the Knowledge Embassy at Beni Suef University.
Dr. Tarek explained that the workshop addressed two main themes. The first theme introduced the Knowledge Embassy, highlighting its role in supporting students and the services it provides in facilitating access to knowledge resources and developing skills. This was presented by Mr. Abdelrahman Samir, the official in charge of the Knowledge Embassy at the university.
The second theme focused on time management skills and coping with exam-related stress. It covered several practical aspects, including organizing time during the examination period, effective study strategies, and methods for dealing with stress and psychological pressure, in addition to providing practical steps for completing academic courses in an organized manner. This part was delivered by Ms. Aliaa Mamdouh Anwar, Training Consultant at Board Skills International in Germany.
Dr. Shahira Fawzy emphasized that this workshop comes within the framework of the university’s commitment to developing students’ personal and academic skills, and equipping them with the necessary tools to manage their time efficiently, thereby contributing to achieving optimal academic performance.
