Beni Suef University Faculty of Nursing Organizes the Scientific Day for the Departments of Psychiatric Nursing and Nursing Administration Under the Title: “Integrating Nursing Management and Mental Health Care Towards Quality and Excellence”

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing organized a scientific day for the Department of Psychiatric Nursing in collaboration with the Department of Nursing Administration, under the title: “Integrating Nursing Management and Mental Health Care: Towards Quality and Excellence.”
The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abou El Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Sherine El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Nagwa Soliman, Head of the Department of Psychiatric Nursing; and Dr. Sanaa Mohamed Hassan, Head of the Department of Nursing Administration. Coordination was carried out by Dr. Aliaa Abdallah Mahmoud and Dr. Aida Mahmoud.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the scientific day addressed the importance of integrating mental health concepts into nursing management, as well as the role of conscious leadership in improving the work environment and alleviating professional pressures on nursing teams, which positively reflects on the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.
The event also discussed methods of preparing nursing cadres equipped with advanced administrative skills alongside deep psychological awareness, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive healthcare based on modern scientific and professional foundations. This comes within the framework of the university’s commitment to supporting integration between theoretical and practical aspects in the nursing field.
In her speech, Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy emphasized the importance of this scientific collaboration between the two departments, considering it a model that reflects the integration between the psychological dimension and the administrative aspect of the nursing profession, thereby contributing to the development of the healthcare system. She added that this cooperation reflects the faculty’s commitment to delivering integrated scientific content, developing students’ skills, and preparing them to meet labor market demands. She also praised the efforts of faculty members and the assisting staff in ensuring the success of the scientific day.
The event concluded with honoring the organizers of the scientific day, amid widespread praise for the distinguished level of the event, and an emphasis on the importance of translating its recommendations and outcomes into practical applications within healthcare institutions, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of nursing care.
