Graduate Unit at Beni Suef University Launches the First Employment Forum from the Faculty of Developmental Social Work

The Central Graduate Unit at Beni Suef University launched, under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, its first field activity from the Faculty of Developmental Social Work by organizing the “First Employment Forum for Graduates,” in a step that reflects the activation of the unit’s role and its direct linkage with the sub-units at the faculties, in a manner that contributes to supporting graduates and qualifying them for the labor market.
This came under the supervision of Dr. Abo El Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Amira Hegazy, Director of the Central Graduate Unit, Dr. Hindawi Abdel Lahy, Dean of the Faculty, and with the follow-up of Dr. Mohamed Saad El Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The forum witnessed the attendance of a number of faculty leaders, academic staff members, and representatives of civil society institutions. It included the organization of specialized workshops to qualify graduates for the labor market, with the participation of students of For the Sake of Egypt, within the framework of the university’s support for empowering its youth and preparing them for a promising professional future.
Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that Beni Suef University gives great attention to the file of qualifying graduates and linking them to the labor market, stemming from its belief in its societal role in preparing cadres capable of competition and effective contribution to achieving sustainable development. The organization of the First Employment Forum for Graduates at the Faculty of Developmental Social Work comes as an important step toward strengthening bridges of communication between graduates and labor market institutions and opening new horizons before them to acquire the necessary skills and expertise. The university is keen to support such events that contribute to refining the abilities of its youth and enabling them to achieve their professional ambitions, which is positively reflected on society as a whole.
In her speech, Dr. Amira Hegazy expressed her appreciation for the support provided by the university leadership, affirming that what has been achieved of accomplishments is the result of a supportive institutional environment that enhances performance efficiency and develops the work system within the unit.
She also affirmed the vital role of graduates of the Faculty of Developmental Social Work as a fundamental pillar in supporting community stability and confronting social challenges, pointing out that they represent an effective force in transforming development plans into a tangible reality that serves citizens.
