Faculty of Sports Sciences at Beni Suef University Organizes an Awareness Seminar Entitled “Together to Instill Values and Combat Violence for a Safe University Community”

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the University Anti-Violence Unit, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Together to Instill Values and Combat Violence for a Safe University Community.” The seminar was held on the sidelines of the practical examinations for the end of the academic year.
The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Abo El Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Mahmoud Ragai, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the participation of Sheikh Mohamed ???? ???? from the Beni Suef Preaching Administration, and Dr. Ghada Atef.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the seminar addressed the importance of instilling human values, demonstrating proper conduct, and spreading a culture of respect for others. Sheikh Mohamed ???? ???? emphasized the necessity of adhering to social ethics and promoting positive values among students.
The seminar also reviewed the role of the University Anti-Violence Unit, methods of communicating with it, the importance of maintaining safe distances between male and female students, and raising awareness of the dangers of all forms of violence and ways of confronting them within the university community.
He also pointed out that this event comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to spread community awareness and promote positive values in a manner that contributes to building a university community based on respect and tolerance.
The seminar witnessed remarkable interaction from male and female students through discussions and interventions that reflected their awareness of the importance of adhering to ethical values and their role in supporting a safe and stable university environment.
