President of Beni Suef University announces that 5 faculty members from the Faculty of Graduate Studies have won the title of “Carbon Footprint Ambassadors”.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that five faculty members from Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Sciences have been awarded the title of “Carbon Footprint Ambassadors” after successfully completing the training program provided by the General Organization for Export and Import Control in cooperation with the initiative Engineers for Sustainable Egypt.
The University President extended his congratulations to the faculty members: Dr. Samaa El Dak, Professor of Nanoscience and Materials Technology, Director of the Office of International Ranking and Sustainable Development, and Dean of the college; Dr. Lubna Heikal, Lecturer in the Department of Renewable Energy Sciences and Engineering and Director of the Graduate Follow-up Unit at the college; Dr. Heba Younes, Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Industrial Development; Dr. Heba Hassan, Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and member of the Office of International Ranking and Sustainable Development; and Dr. Taghreed ??? ?????, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science and member of the Office of International Ranking and Sustainable Development. He wished them continued success and further effective contributions in serving society and advancing the scientific research system.
Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that this achievement reflects the excellence of faculty members, researchers, and female researchers at Beni Suef University and its leadership in the fields of scientific research and sustainable development. He pointed out that the university gives great attention to green transformation and environmental sustainability files within the framework of the Egyptian state’s directions toward reducing carbon emissions and achieving sustainable development.
The University President added that the participation of the university’s cadres in such national programs contributes to strengthening institutional capacities in the fields of sustainability and supports the state’s efforts to build qualified cadres capable of dealing with contemporary environmental challenges.
